I was pregnant for three months without knowing, still playing for Invisible Angel club

Mrs Esther  Obikwelu, never knew she was pregnant with her first child, she was still playing as a defender for Invisible angel, without seeing her menstruation period for three months, not until the fourth month to pregnancy she stopped when she found out.

She not advising anyone to do that, the doctor told that was not the best, but it worked for her because she did not know, she was lucky and did not have any have any complication, as a matter of fact after giving birth, she resumed playing within one month.

She such a super mother…she had to do hanging on the wall, punishment given in academy for  anyone who violated any of the rules. This punishment literally drains your strength…she went graciously she said as a result of constant practice as a defender helped a lot.

She revealed also when there menstrual crams she only concentrates on what she wants to achieve for that day which t is winning.

As number four defender in her team her eyes are constantly on the people - 3 and 2 whom she works hand in hand with. As she passes the ball out to the opponent, she maintains a balance and strength so when she kicks the ball, it passes the middle of the field. No chances of the opponent, depends on her to an extent to make it easier for her the goalkeeper.

Her labour took just an hour to put to bed, she believes its her profession as a defender, as she exercise every day, did help her a lot during her pregnancy.

As a footballer she has familiarized herself with the ball, playing the ball in between her legs, a quick down and up the stairs case, article 16(30seconds of 200 rounds) three hours of jogging…all these exercises help the legs free and to be fast.

After all these she lays hands at the back with all body lying flat with her tummy  and head on the floor.

Phew! She both did some exercises which has really exhausted me, gush ! a big respect to all the football out there
