There were mixed feelings on his apology,some say he did the right by apologizing others felt he was very correct about what he said. Anyways here was his apology:
“I felt betrayed after that seeming heart-to-heart discussions with the coach few days to the release of the team list and he could not hint me I was not in his plan for the Nations Cup. For me it was not professional and I considered it a betrayal and lost my cool given all the arrangements I had made towards the Nations Cup,” he said.
So many did comment saying that NFF is corrupt,they give shirt to the higehest bider,with godfatherism here and there,hmmm! But is that putting their interest above the success of the nation?
