According to Nigeria Basketball Federation, Chinedu Onyeuku qualified for the London 2012 olympics basketball team but he did not compete with the team because his name did not appear on the Olympic roster.
A condolence statement was found on the Nigerian Basketball Federation post, stating that his passion for playing with D’Tgers will be greatly missed.
He was only 29years.
