Blessing Okagbare has made us proud

She brought home Nigeria's first medal at the ongoing IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia. The las time we had this was in 1999.She won the silver medal in the long jump event final on Sunday August 11th after jumping 6.99m.

27 year old ex-Birmingham city striker dies

Christian Benítez died in hospital in Qatar today from complications leading to cardiac arrest The striker from Ecuador died just weeks after a £10million move to Qatar side, El Jaish.

Sadly it was reported that Benitez 'had severe stomach pain, was rushed to a hospital, where after a few hours suffered cardio respiratory arrest, which ended his life.'

He left behind his wife, children and his father.
